Building on your current Commercial Underwriting skillset you’ll focus on Underwriting within the Leisure sector.

Something way more fun like underwriting for paintballing and go karting businesses.

Especially seeing as everything is pretty much bespoke. Every risk is different. So the bog-standard risks like you’re currently dealing with will be no more.

There’s a current Leisure book of around £4million, all built up by the owner of the business. A lovely family-run MGA who are truly passionate about the work they do, but the people who work in it to. And have great brand new offices in Braintree.

This particular owner is looking to take a slight step back over time. Starting to pass the business over to you. For you to manage, have the autonomy to do with as you see fit.

But as you can imagine, this is a big deal. To pass on business you’ve grown and nurtured over years of hard work. But that doesn’t bother you. Being experienced in the industry you’re the right person for the job.

And to be pretty much the only person as the Leisure Underwriter in the business, you’ll have the development to grow.

After all, new business lands in their inbox daily. So who knows, you could have the chance to build a team of 'fun underwriters’ in the future.
