Carfax Education are currently looking for a Maths or Science Tutor who would like to teach their passion to secondary age students (year 7-13), for a leading international Education provider.

**Job description**

The position will primarily tutor maths and science to secondary age students in year 7 - 13.

**Starting the position in August 2024**, the full-time (40 hours) paid posts will require a baseline of 25 hours of tutoring per week, working Monday - Friday (5 days). Non teaching hours will include, but not limited to, planning, setting homework, travel, administration tasks, and working collaboratively with fellow tutors and academic staff.

Full in-house training will be provided.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Minimum 2:1 Maths or Science Degree from Cambridge, Oxford or Russell Group University
- Preferably 1 year tutoring experience
- Excellent communicator - personable, calm and patient.
- Adaptable team player - able to quickly respond to challenges faced by a small business.
- Success driven - excited and motivated to succeed, able to take the initiative.
- Attention to detail - constantly strives for excellence in every detail.
- Organised - able to plan well, prioritise and stick to deadlines.
