A work life balance focused, remote working Fire Safety and Fire Engineering Consultancy are searching for a Fire Consultant to join their progressive and exciting Fire Safety team.

The successful Fire Consultant will be working hand in hand with the fire engineering team to carry out Fire Risk Assessments on construction based projects.

This is an opportunity to work as a Fire Consultant for an ambitious Fire and Risk company who are focused on a work life balance.

**The Role**
- Conduct full and comprehensive site surveys.
- Help to guide organisation through statutory requirements to ensure compliance.
- Provide support and guidance to the fire consultant team which enhances the quality of technical output to clients and promote technical development of the wider team.
- Attend CPD meetings (All expenses paid for abroad getaways)
- Be fully conversant with all relevant legislation and recommended/ ensure procedures are updated accordingly.

**The Fire Consultant**
- Membership with either IFE or IFSM.
- An evidenced background and competent in related fire safety work.
- Building Regulations (ADB) knowledge and experience.
- Experience and knowledge of building construction standards and buildings under construction.
- Experience and knowledge of fire compartmentation and fire stopping standards.
- An evidenced background of fire risk assessment completion in complex buildings.
- Minimum of Level 3 qualification or equivalent as identified on the Fire Competency Framework.
- Minimum of 2 years fire risk/fire safety consultancy experience.
