1:1 Teaching Assistant

**Job Title: 1:1 EYFS Teaching Assistant**

**Location: PR9**

**Pay Rates: £83.40 per day**

**Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday**

Edison Pope are working closely with an Ofsted rated 'GOOD' school in West Lancashire who require a 1:1 Teaching assistants to work with a child in their Early Years Unit who requires additional support.

**1:1 SEN teaching Assistant role**:

- To work on a 1:1 basis with SEN children, directed by the class teacher and/or SENCo, to support in all areas of learning
- To adapt to working with different children with differing needs
- To build and maintain positive, caring, professional relationships with children
- To develop knowledge and understanding of the specific academic, emotional and behavioural needs of the children and respond to them effectively
- To support children throughout the school day
- To work closely with other members of staff to ensure the best possible care is provided for children
- Maintain excellent communication
- To provide wellbeing support ensuring needs are met throughout the day

This role is Monday to Friday 8:30 - 3:30. The position is on a long term basis with the chance to move onto a school contract.
