**Position Overview**:
We are seeking several passionate and experienced Alternative Provision Tutors to work in Basingstoke and the surrounding area. In this role, you will support students with a variety of SEND and/or SEMH needs in their own homes or within the local community. You will play a crucial role in delivering personalised education, providing one-on-one support, and fostering a positive learning environment that promotes student growth and development.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' unique needs and abilities.
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning support in accordance with the national curriculum and relevant educational frameworks.
- Provide tailored support to help students manage emotional learning barriers and achieve their academic goals.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and other professionals to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
- Utilise a variety of teaching resources and instructional techniques to engage and motivate students in their learning journey.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievement in compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience working with students with SEND and/or SEMH needs in an educational setting or as a tutor.
- Strong understanding of special educational needs and the ability to adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and stakeholders.
- Patient, empathetic, and compassionate approach to working with diverse learners.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of students.
- Valid driving license and access to a vehicle (preferred).

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £31.00-£33.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
