**AV Engineer**

**Bracknell**

**£37,000 - £40,000**

You will need a positive attitude with a sense of ambition, alongside experience in AV Engineering.

Working in a tight-knit team of 5, you will have close communication with the two programmers and the AV Field Technician, whilst helping to support the Line Manager with ongoing and future projects within the hospitality sector.

**Some of what you will be doing**:

- Interfaces with line manager for installations and deployment; client contacts; & all Tech-Ops and engineering staff in the installation, commissioning process and system maintenance
- Troubleshooting AV systems/equipment
- Communicating with system programmers, to define audio video system requirements and troubleshooting
- Assisting the line manager with handling client requested changes to scope (change orders)
- Installing and completing commissioning QC checklists, rack testing and escalating and resolving issues with equipment and field testing
- Resolving issues with equipment and programs
- Providing training on AV systems to clients.

**Ideally, your skills and experience will include**:

- Knowledge & experience for the installation and commissioning of assigned projects for the advanced Visual Systems and Television Networks.
- A thorough, understanding of systems integration techniques (Integration via IP protocols, Serial, ZigBee, or IR)
- Understanding audio DSP units
- Understanding basic IP networking.
- Understanding HDBaseT Technology
- Can create customer training presentations in PowerPoint if required
