This dynamic company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Estimator to join their team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects.
- Collaborate with the Estimating team to analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to determine material, labour, and equipment requirements.
- Conduct thorough research on material and labour costs to ensure accurate and up-to-date information for cost estimates.
- Utilize industry-specific software and tools to organize and analyze data efficiently.
- Maintain organized and detailed records of project estimates, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Assist in the preparation of comprehensive bid documentation.
- Work closely with the Estimating team, Project Managers, and other departments to gather relevant information for accurate estimations.
- Participate in meetings to discuss project requirements and provide valuable input.
- Stay informed about industry trends, construction methods, and material costs to enhance estimating accuracy.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of estimating processes and procedures.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role or internship within the construction industry is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Team Player
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to the success of the Estimating team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and adapt to changing priorities.
