We are a family run business, established in 1985. We are a large care home that provides nursing and residential care for the elderly.

This position is looking for a caring natured person who enjoys the company of others. To improve the quality of life for all residents able to participate in social activities and to offer activities that reflect residents cultural and spiritual interests. To encourage and reinforce social skills of those residents with impaired abilities. To organise activities that stimulate their social, mental and physical needs. To arrange special events; Christmas parties, Summer garden parties, Afternoon tea's, Royal Events's, Remembrance Day, etc. To participate in day and evening trips out. To produce Newsletters and Posters and keep the Event's Planner and notice board up to date.

Must be willing to work every other weekend and be willing to attend evening outings. Normal hour's of work 9.30am - 4.00pm.

MUST have a clean driving licence and be over 21 years old as required to drive the company vehicle.

To take part in staff meetings and also in training activities as required.

5.6 weeks holiday pro rata.
