I am supporting an exciting organisation within the energy field who due to their ongoing growth require a Finance Assistant to join their warm and friendly team for this permanent, full-time and hybrid working opportunity. Based in Buntingford the businessrequires a driver to be able to commute to the offices for the days you are in the office.

**Client Details**

The client are P/E backed and have seen significant growth since their onset, within the energy field the business are going to continue their expansion and this is a newly created role to help facilitate the increase in workload in transactional finance.You will report into an interpersonal and engaging line manager and join a brilliant organisation.

**Description**
- Processing supplier invoices to the correct G/L codes and entities
- Liaising with and supporting other finance staff and site teams to ensure AP and AR processes are followed.
- Managing AP mailbox
- Processing staff expenses
- Reconciling and analysing credit card and petty cash spend
- Reconciliation of supplier accounts against statements
- Following new supplier set up procedures
- Verify supplier bank details
- Deal with invoice/payment queries from suppliers
- Preparing payment run for processing into banking platform
- Set up bank payments on banking platform
- Provide support to management team on portfolio wide AP related projects
- Assist with the bank reconciliation process
- Processing of monthly sales invoices
- Reconciliation of sales ledger accounts
- Chasing old debt
- Deal with ad hoc requests from colleagues
