**Job Summary**

We are looking for someone outgoing and people focused who loved animals to join our independently family owned business.

We have a wonderful community of staff and customers with an ever developing business mentality that is always looking to increase work life balance and wellbeing. This permanent contract (part-time) role is an all encompassing high demanding role that can be both stressful and rewarding.

This contract will mean being part of our team where we all work together to provide the best possible customer service and animal care.

The hours will be from Monday to Friday, 5 hours a day making a total of 25 hours. You will then be required to cover weekend work on a rotation basis with the rest of the team of Receptionists. All out of hours are covered at our hospital by Vets Now so you will always get bank holidays off.

- Liaise with other staff members (visits, ordering, clinical questions, emergencies)
- Ensuring stock is maintained for all front of house
- Maintaining a diary
- Weekend work will be included
- An ability to work under severe pressure
- The ability to work calmly and efficiently in an emergency
- Able to deal with an array of emotions and create rapport where appropriate

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
- Customer facing experience is crucial
- Owner of animals is preferred.
