**The Opportunity**
A fantastic opportunity to support disabled students to participate fully and succeed in their chosen courses of study. Your key role will be to provide specialist study skills support, advice and guidance to students with specific learning differences and neurodiverse conditions that impact their studies.
**Full-time (35 hours per week) or Part-time opportunities are available, **with a minimum of 0.6 FTE (Full Time Equivalent) which is the equivalent of 3 days or 21 hours per week.
**Your skills and attributes for success**
- **Must **hold SpLD qualification (preferably with Associate Membership of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA) accreditation)
- Substantial knowledge of issues affecting students with neurodiverse conditions including AD(H)D, dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia undertaking studies in higher education.
- Working knowledge of equality legislation and good practice including GDPR
- IT literate
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Organisational skills: ability to manage priorities, workload and deliver case notes and funding body paperwork timeously.
- Ability to remain calm and professional within a busy and, at times, challenging environment
