Quarry Supervisor

**Description**:
We are currently seeking a Quarry Supervisor based at Leaton Quarry, Shropshire.

In the role, you will be responsible for supporting the Quarry Manager with the safe and efficient management and operation of the Quarry.

You will support the management of production and extraction activities, troubleshooting technical problems and overseeing planning of day-to-day operations in conjunction with other departments across site.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safety will comprise a key element of the role. You will also be required to conduct risk assessments and health and safety inspections and to demonstrate leadership in safety.
- An important element of the role will involve administrative duties, from writing reports and updating records to procurement and budget control.
- An ability to plan and organise work in a time efficient fashion is critical.
