**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Learning Support Assistant to work with college students aged 16-25 who require additional support. As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will work with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to help them access the curriculum and achieve their academic goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEN to help them access the curriculum and achieve their academic goals.
- Assist students with personal care, such as toileting, feeding, and mobility.
- Help students to develop social and emotional well-being, confidence, self-esteem, and communication skills.
- Work collaboratively with other members of staff to ensure the needs of the students are being met.
- Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to the teaching staff and parents or guardians as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all support provided to students.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with students with SEN, particularly those with personal care needs.
- An understanding of the challenges faced by students with disabilities, including physical and mental health conditions.
- Knowledge of the strategies and approaches used to support students with SEN in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with colleagues, students, and parents or guardians.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the college or institution.
