**ACCOUNTABLE TO**: Head of Digital Operations

This post involves the co-ordination of all IT Purchases across the hospital group and will involve liaising directly with the Procurement team.

Standard stock equipment items will need to be maintained in accordance with guidelines set out by the Asset Manager and or Desktop Support Manager. This will involve completing frequent stock checks to ensure levels are staff to continue to provide service, providing equipment on a weekly basis to other hospital sites and daily collection of goods from stores/ The post holder will report to the Digital Services Asset Manager but will work alongside all IT staff ensuring any procurement needs are fulfilled within a timely manner in accordance with outlined SLAs.

It also involves the management of the Digital Services Configuration Management Database (Asset Database), maintaining both automated processes and manual electronic records to ensure the hospitals assets both tangible and intangible are accounted for.

Other duties include the maintenance of other IT Department databases and spreadsheets pertaining to the purchase of IT equipment and the audit of PCs in relation to software requirements. General Admin support will be required from time to time based on the guidance from your immediate line manager and other Digital Services senior managers.
