Highly respected company based in Falmouth, Cornwall are looking to recruit a permanent Senior Buyer/Purchaser.

Duties
- Assist in the development of supplier relationships, agreements, and delivery terms.
- To ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations.
- Initiate purchase orders and amendments for procured products from the MRP report, to ensure timely execution of product sourcing activities.
- Research and evaluate areas of opportunity and reduce costs where possible.
- Identify alternative supply sources as required.
- Conduct price negotiations with suppliers to minimise the impact to the business.
- Provide forecasts to suppliers, analysing production requirements and inventory to maximise in time deliveries.
- Liaise with finance departments and suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues.

Experience required
- Proven Buying/Purchasing experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Price negotiation experience.
- Experience with MRP systems and processes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £33,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
