- 5 days per week, Monday to Friday
- 30 hours per week, £11 per hour, with increase after probation period
- Right for someone with experience of a fast paced front of house environment, able to manage a workload and see tasks through to completion.

Reception team members need to have a good understanding of the practice and what it offers to patients so that they can:

- welcome patients to the practice and assist with queries;
- ensure that the correct paperwork is completed and signed;
- explain practice membership plans etc to patients;
- take correct payment for treatments carried out;
- schedule appointments with the clinical team;
- handle any number of support tasks such as managing lab work for patients and clinicians and reconciling the takings at the end of each day and each week.

We are looking for the right person, who will be:

- a good team player able to build effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels
- have fluent communication skills both written and spoken,
- be competent in IT particularly Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Knowledge of dental software is not expected, as training will be provided, but an aptitude for software operation will be beneficial.
- A proficient typist with good accuracy
- experienced in customer service both face to face and by telephone,
- experienced in cash handling and managing diaries/appointments.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £11.00 per hour
