**Job Profile for Maintenance Engineer - 00253814**

**Maintenance EngineerPosition Overview**
- Carry out repairs to all types of plant, equipment and building fabrications in a safe, timely and professional manner.
- Carry out PPM schedules as necessary and planned work orders as required.
- Operate maintenance Forklift Truck and Elevated Working Platform as required. (Training given)
- Report breakdown root cause, equipment faults and concerns to management.
- Record jobs, and complete job tickets on the maintenance recording software itom.
- Plan / prioritize workload to support production and ensure efficient use of working time.
- Manufacture spare parts as required (Simple Bracketry, Gaskets etc )
- Identify spares requirements and control / log usage.
- Assist with the moving, installation, repositioning of machines and equipment.
- Assist visiting specialist engineers when necessary.

**Maintenance EngineerPosition Requirements**
- Apprentice trained preferable
- Able to read mechanical and electrical drawings to a basic knowledge
- Problem Solver with the ability to logically fault find
- Experience of inverter, servo, DC drives
- Worked with circuits from 415 to 24VDC power & control
- Understanding of pneumatics
- Read mechanical drawings
- Experience with conveyors
- Experience or knowledge with chain, sprocket, belt driven machinery
- Worked with high-speed rotating machinery
- Fabrication experience

**Maintenance EngineerPosition Remuneration**
- Salary
- 30-35k
- 4 On 4 Off 42 hours/ 36.75 hours per 7 Day week
