Tree Officer

20 Month Contract

To provide a professional arboricultural service in respect of the management of tree stock with the aim of fulfilling statutory duties and conserving and enhancing the stock’s asset value.

Some of the key duties include;
- To inspect tree stock across the parks and highway network
- To use the tree management software
- Assist with the tree planting programme
- Provide technical details to a range of stakeholders
- To assist member of the public with tree enquires and provide technical details
- Issue works orders to the principal contractors.

Working 9am till 5pm

Full UK licence would be desirable

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £14.55-£18.11 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bedford, Bedfordshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
