A great opportunity has arisen to join the Quality department of a manufacturing business that has gone through phenomenal growth and who have invested in their factory and also training and testing facilities on site to ensure the best offering to theirclient base.

The Quality Engineer will be required to support the Quality Manager in all aspects of quality within the company, in line with business processes, external certifications and legislation.

Duties
- Assist in the ongoing implementation and deployment of the company Quality Management System
- Investigate internal and external quality non-conformances.
- Coordinate the activities of the Internal Audit Team and execute audits as per plan.
- Undertake required projects to improve product quality, processes, or records in line with quality system requirements.
- Assist in sample builds and data collection.
- Communication of the quality specification and standards to colleagues.
- Prioritise an enhanced customer experience and respect for your colleagues in all of your undertakings.

The person
- Experience in a Quality engineering/coordinating role.
- Excellent problem solving skills using appropriate quality tools
- Ability to carry out internal audits.
- A good understanding of reading drawings, understanding tolerances and first principle measuring techniques.
- Good observation and attention to detail is essential,
- Strong organisational and decision-making skills.

Education/Experience Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience within a technical quality role.
- Internal or Lead Auditor trained.
- Experience of problem solving to correct issues impacting compliance is essential.
