We are currently recruiting for an Alarm Optimisation (AO) Specialists to work within a team that is focused on improving the quality of alarms and telemetry data that is received within the Operational Control department through various activities and continuous improvement. The AO specialist provides a critical link between the field operations teams and the regional control centre by gathering information and knowledge from the experts within the field and suggesting solutions that other team members will incorporate in the front-end solutions.

The team strives in working continuously to ensure Southern Water meets our pollution targets and deadline and committed to reduce pollution to 0% by 2040. You will be actively working to drive to reduce our leakage and incidence within the business as part of the key requirement of the role. Reporting to the Alarm Optimisation Manager, you will be part of a team that consist of 4 Water and Wastewater specialist driving to improve the delivery of our wider team of Operational Control Centre.

To be successful in this role, you need to have passion in driving standards across and within the business to make the required improvements to alarms estate. You have a great opportunity to shape and explore creativity to produce innovation in managing alarm optimisation and reducing volumes. With your collaborative skills, you will be highly engaged in managing stakeholder relationships and networking within our control centre hub within the business.

Our current improvements made over the last annual period, looking at 25% in alarm reduction into the OCC. With a key interest in driving innovation and bringing the change, with your innovative mindset you will be working towards aligning standards within the business to achieve our regulatory compliance requirement.

**Salary**: Up to £37,000.00 per year
