**Catering Assistant**

**AfC Band 2 (pro rata) plus a High Secure Environmental Allowance of £1,390.20 per annum (pro rata)**

**37.5 Hours per Week, Mon - Fri 9am to 5 pm**

**Contract Duration - Permanent
A position has arisen for a part time Catering Assistant within The State Hospital. The post holder will be required to assist Cooks to produce meals, snacks and therapeutic diets for around 140 patients as well as provide a breakfast and lunch service for the staff dining room.

**REQUIREMENT**

Previous experience as Kitchen Assistant or Kitchen Porter ideal but not necessary.

**ROLE**

Food Prep

Basic Cooking

Assisting the Chef /Cook

Cleaning Food Stations & Kitchen

Pot, Plates and Cutlery Washing

Maintain Health & Safety standard

Cash handling and customer service skills also required.

Applicants should hold an accredited Basic Food Hygiene certificate and have similar experience working in a food outlet.
