**About us**

Harris Bros & Collard Ltd are well-established Principal Building Contractor based in Bridgwater, Somerset who operate throughout the Southwest. We are a privately owned family ran company who carry out both public and private sector contracts primarily within the healthcare, education, commercial and residential settings.

We are looking for site foreman/supervisor with an experienced trade background to join our team. Good teamworking skills are required and the ability to work to deadlines. This vacancy is for client facing role therefore good communication and people skills are required. The main roles and responsibilities include:

- Taking an active, hands on approach to the management of our construction sites
- Coordinating construction work according to priorities and plans including all supply chain working on the site
- Producing material schedules and monitor attendance of all operatives and supply chain
- Allocating general and daily responsibilities
- Have the ability to manage your time between supervising and carrying out site required skilled tasks
- Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
- Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
- Resolve problems when they arise
- Report on progress to managers, engineers etc

A current valid driver’s licence is required to carry out this role.

A competitive hourly rate wage is offered based upon the level of qualifications and experience within the construction industry. Wages will be paid monthly.

The normal working hours would be 07:30 - 17:00 Monday - to - Friday, although there will be occasions when you will be required to work outside of these hours to meet demands.

22 days holiday per year plus bank holidays.

**Salary**: £16.00-£20.00 per hour
