**Join Our Team as a Recycling Operative**

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Recycling Operative to join our team. As a key member of the warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for sorting waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) into its various component parts so they can be recycled or reused responsibly. You will also assist in tracking inventory information and ensuring the efficient operation of the recycling process by adhering to safety protocols.

Wiser Recycling is a large independent processor of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) in the East and North of England. Our focus is to recycle electrical wastes regularly, reliably and responsibly. This includes processing TVs, fridges, computers and fluorescent tubes into valuable materials.

**Your new role**

As a Recycling Operative, you will be responsible for an important part of the recycling process: dismantling WEEE. This task ensures that all components can be reused or recycled responsibly. WEEE includes devices such as flat-panel TVs, microwaves, CRTs, fridges, PCs and other waste electricals.

To help you confidently adapt and problem-solve, we have established various support teams. Among others - these include compliance, health and safety, administration and sales. Together, we work as a team to reach our goals. In addition to your support crew, you will also have access to a variety of software and systems. Asana, MyCompliance, PeopleHR and Fieldmotion to name but a few. All are designed with the goal of assisting you in project management, compliance monitoring and leadership.

Day-to-day, you will be using our support systems to help you work towards your goals. Some of the tasks you will be undertaking as a Class 2 Driver will include:

- Adhere to safe working practices and health and safety instructions.
- Breaking down of WEEE into component parts.
- Stripping plastic coated tubes.
- Sorting and containerising batteries.
- Carrying out reasonable instructions from the Team Leaders and Site Operations Manager.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,767.00-£23,328.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thetford, IP24 1HP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
