Dog Walker

I am putting the feelers out to hire a new employee for my established dog walking business, based in Painswick but also covering Stroud.

I have struggled in the past finding reliable cover for days I am unavailable to find someone I fully trust and know will do the best possible job and care for the pack, and really want to connect with someone I can trust with my wonderful dogs. Must be: hardworking, animal-loving and experienced, reliable and fit. Canine first aid trained highly prefered.

I am fortunate to walk some absolutely incredible doggies, and want to find only the best possible cover & (very) potential employee to suit their needs going forward. This job could lead to part to full time employment.

I am a very friendly person and would welcome a casual interview followed by a second interview whilst with my dogs.

Responsibilities: - Walk dogs on a regular basis, ensuring their safety and well-being - Provide exercise and mental stimulation for dogs during walks - Follow specific instructions from pet owners regarding their dogs' care and behavior - Monitor dogs for any signs of illness or injury and report any concerns to the owner - Clean up after dogs during walks and properly dispose of waste - Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with clients Skills: - Animal care: Knowledge of basic animal care and understanding of dog behavior - Heavy lifting: Ability to handle large and strong dogs during walks - Customer service: Excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service to pet owners - Veterinary: Basic knowledge of common dog health issues and ability to recognize signs of distress or illness Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. **Salary**: £50.00-£100.00 per day
