Head of Programme Management

**Head of Programme Management**

**Working Pattern: 37 hrs per week - Monday to Friday**

**Location: Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire**

Via is currently looking for a Head of Programme Management to join our Programme Management Team based at our Bilsthorpe Depot.

You will lead the programme management of the annual capital and revenue programme of works and also manage the relationship with the Client and Delivery teams

**The Job**

Key areas of responsibility will include:
- To lead the delivery of the programme management service ensuring that services and projects are delivered on time and to budget.
- Provide guidance, support and specialist advice to colleagues across the business to ensure that the organisation understands and delivers the works programmes.
- Co-ordinate, monitor and report on the annual capital and revenue programme of works to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify and develop opportunities to innovate and improve service delivery, customer satisfaction and financial performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members to support individuals with achieving their potential and delivering effective business results.
- Hold team members to account to comply with internal and external standards of statutory responsibilities, duties, policies and procedures.

**The Person**

Mainly you will be excited to be a vital part of our Programme Managements team, but there are just a few other things we’d like from you:
- Significant experience in managing projects and programmes and relevant qualifications
- Proven, high level leadership, communication and negotiation skills, to lead and influence staff, clients, suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Significant financial management and budgetary control, with experience of managing multiple £million+ revenue and capital budgets.
- Considerable analytical skills in order to interpret complex information, identifying financial and service performance variations, in order to develop and implement service plans to maximise value and efficiency.
