**Support Worker - Mental Health Hospital**

**Must be PMVA Trained **(Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression)

**Location**: Gosport (**Must be living in the UK)**

**Position**: Support Worker - Mental Health

**Hours**: 12 hour shifts / Full time & part time shifts available

**Salary / Pay Rate**: £11.00 per hour to £14.00 per hour dependent on shift. *Not inclusive of holiday pay*

**Contract**: Temporary

**About the role**:Provide assistance and support to individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities - Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration - Help individuals participate in social and recreational activities - Support individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills - Document and report any changes in behaviour or health status to the appropriate supervisor - Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of individuals

**Do you have experience with ?**
- Administering Medication
- Providing Emotional support for an individual
- Work with other healthcare professional to ensure that all support needs meet the highest possible standards.

**Qualifications**:PMVA trained, Bild Accredited

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanour
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of relevant safety protocols and procedures
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of individuals.
