King Edward VI College, Stourbridge is a sixth form college and a member of the Heart of Mercia Trust. As A level specialists, we provide a deep and thorough academic curriculum and help our students to develop excellent independent study skills. Just as important is our broader development curriculum, with almost 100 different clubs, groups and activities operating on a weekly basis, and excellent preparation for careers and HE. Our students come from a great variety of social and cultural backgrounds, and we take pride in supporting them to form an active and friendly community.

We are looking for an Assistant Principal (Student Journey) to join our Senior Leadership Team, with a start date of 30 August 2023. This post will have responsibility for a range of operational areas, including estates, data and technology, the library, careers service and marketing and liaison.

We are looking for somebody with energy and enthusiasm, a supportive leader with high standards, a superb problem-solver who is able to develop the skills of their staff to an exceptional level. We want to work with people who are conscientious and reflective, and above all who like working with teenagers and love to see them succeed.
