**Job Title**: Multiply Numeracy Trainer Coach

**Contract Type**: Fixed term 12 months

**Hours of Work**: 37.5 hours p/w

**Salary**: £23,000.00 - £26,000.00 per annum

**Location**: Covering Neath Port Talbot and surrounding areas.

**Experience Required / Essential Criteria**
- Level 3 Practitioner Award in Numeracy or equivalent.
- Experience or awareness of assessing Numeracy Essential Skills.
- Digitally competent and confident

- Excellent time management and organisational skills

- Full driving licence - Due to the nature of the job role and the geographical location of our customers, driving will be an essential part of the role.

**Summary of Role**:
To work within the communities identified delivering non accredited innovative numeracy courses designed to help improve individual numeracy skills in line with needs and levels. Ensuring all individuals receive thorough, useful initial assessment to determine starting point and information and advice and guidance both at initial engagement and exit. The short courses will focus on numeracy for use in everyday life whilst incorporating confidence building, wellbeing support and soft skill signposting.

In addition the facilitation and delivery of accredited Essential Skills Application of Number Qualifications ranging from Entry Level 1 to Level 2 where applicable. You must be enthusiastic and passionate about developing numeracy skills. Being able to share your skills and develop others alongside maintaining a positive relationship with the learner and stakeholders is of upmost importance. You will be responsible for supporting a cohort of learners through to achievement in line with the individual needs. You will teach, assess, and help create bespoke short numeracy courses focusing on improving numeracy in everyday life.

**Key Responsibilties / Accountabilities**
- Plan and deliver Numeracy Essential Skills qualifications according to relevant Awarding Bodies, funding, and organisational requirements.
- Plan and deliver short non accredited numeracy courses.
- Effective teaching and learning opportunities to fulfil requirements of the project.
- Prepare and develop resources to support delivery of the project.
- Provide support, information, and guidance to learners through a coaching model.
- Track learner progression and assess achievement to ensure timely completion of objectives.
- Support, deliver and develop learner’s awareness and skills in numeracy
- Support contract, quality, and compliance requirements to ensure attainment and recruitment targets are met.
- Have a strong commitment to continued professional development and a willingness to explore opportunities for further development.
- Elements of the role may involve working with adults at risk, children, and young people in an educational setting.
- Reviewing the safeguarding and wellbeing of learners and escalating through the

appropriate process where required.

**Desirable Criteria**
- PGCE, coaching or equivalent
- GCSEs in Math’s - Grade C or above (or equivalent)
