Packer

**4 on 4 off 12 hour shift rotating days and nights**

**Job Purpose**:
To complete all tasks required by the Pack Leader to the satisfactory standard; to pack product at the required throughput rate.
- Key Accountabilities:

- Pack product with the correct labels, bagging, tape
- Perform full recorded quality checks at set frequency in line with procedures
- Perform visual checks on all product packed
- Ensure correct coverage of film on product with no overhang, bubbles or tears
- Maintain high standard of housekeeping at all times
- Complete product changes; packaging, paperwork, cut width & length adjustment
- Print own labels
- Report any quality defects or machine failures immediately to the Pack Leader
- Remove scrap from line and place in stillage neatly
- Arrive for work 5 minutes before shift starts wearing full company uniform
- Key Experiences:

- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work both under supervision of others and own supervision

Desirables Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:

- Work in a similar manufacturing environment
