Pembrokeshire, United Kingdom Pembrokeshire County Council Full time

The We Can project is a new service delivered as part of our Supported Employment Programme, which supports people with complex and multiply disabilities to progress from high levels of support to a more independent support package.

Based on the concept of Positive Behaviour Support, the team supports individuals to recognise and adapt behaviors that challenge so that participants can engage in a wider range of different activities within a work focused environment. The foundation of the project is to provide people with choice and control over how they spend their time.

The Participant Supervisor will work directly with participants (adults) and support workers to support development and progression to achieve lower levels of support need. The Participant Supervisor will be responsible for staff rotas, working with Mentors to develop support plans and providing day to day supervision of support staff.

We are looking for someone with proven experience of providing a positive and supportive learning environment for adults with complex and multiple disability.
