We have Safer Schools roles in Evesham, Pershore, Worcester and Redditch.
Within these locations you can choose to work a term time or term time plus contract.
**Term time contract**
This working pattern will be Monday to Friday either 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm depending on the school’s preference.
You will work the 39 weeks per year (i.e all of the school terms and have all of the school holidays off).
Your holiday and bank holiday allowance is added to your annual salary and divided by 12 months so that you receive the same salary each month (whether you are working or on school holidays)
Therefore the annual salary for this position is £19,692.
**Term time plus contract**
For this contract you work Monday to Friday either 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm depending on the school’s preference for the term time weeks and then the remaining 13 weeks you would work the hours detailed on the attached shift pattern.
You would book your holidays from the 13 weeks that are school holidays.
The annual salary for this role is £24,547 this includes some weekend working and shift allowance.
The start date for this role (intake date) will be in October 2023 commencing with a 5 week full time course (Monday - Friday)
The main purpose of the role is to act as a focal point for the Community which will enable the building and maintenance of strong community relations with the Police Service. To facilitate the achievement of common goals, through problem solving and partnership collaboration and contribute to a team by supporting regular police officers and the Special constabulary to deliver a service which is innovative, flexible and appropriate to local need.
