Assistant Quality Manager

To assist with maintaining & developing the Quality System in accordance with internal, group and customer standards

- Management of Internal Auditing Systems
- Enhancements of the Quality Management System
- Maintenance of Supplier Approval Database for all suppliers
- Development of Safefood 360 to maximise use within the organisation.
- Primary contact for QA team queries and reporting any unresolved issues to the Quality Manager and/or Head of Technical
- Training & Development of the QA team
- Knowledge of auditing, quality standards and systems, quality management techniques such as HACCP, Process Control and knowledge of food legislation and legal procedures desirable.
- Excellent communication & organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and an ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships between the quality function and other functions.
- Competency in MS Office to include word and excel.
- Third level degree qualification in a scientific food discipline is desirable
