**Multi-Skilled Engineer | Kilmarnock | Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm | £15.50 per hour depending on experience and ability**

Our client is a Security Company that installs and maintains systems throughout Scotland. With computer-aided technology, they can ensure they provide customers with a comprehensive and professional service.

Our client is a friendly medium-size and rapidly growing company with a fantastic opportunity for the right people with the right attitude, to grow within the organisation. They currently have around 40 engineers across multiple disciplines and are committedto continued growth, development, and training for the people with the "right stuff".

Please be aware that the company runs a meritocracy. The better you are, the higher up the pay scale you go. Everyone starts lower on the pay scale than they end up.

**What can you expect in return?**
- Appraisals are conducted twice per year and you are guaranteed a pay review at least once per year
- The company has sufficient work on their books, they can offer almost limitless overtime for those who wish to take advantage of time and a half out of hours on a Saturday or double time on a Sunday
- OT is purely voluntary and there is no obligation to work regular OT if you do not want to
- On-call bonus is £200 plus you are paid for 40 hours regardless of how many hours you actually work whilst on-call. A higher rate is available should 40 hours be exceeded however this has never happened. The average on-call working week is 17 hours
- You won’t work during the day whilst on-call and are guaranteed a day off at the weekend whilst on-call due to the company’s buddy system
- Salaries are reviewed at least once per year and operate a meritocracy, the better an operative is, the more they get paid
- The company invests heavily in training and development and there are multiple paths open to those who demonstrate they are worth the investment. Initiative will take you a long way with the company
- The company has a fairly relaxed approach to managing staff but demands nothing but world-class customer service. They aim for work to be completed on time, on spec, within budget, and safely
- A length of service bonuses such as additional holiday days

- To be considered for this position you must have experience of installing one or more of the following:

- Intruder alarms
- Fire alarms
- CCTV equipment
- Access control equipment
- 5+ years’ experience in nominated system types
- Full clean driving license
- Valid ECS/CSCS card

**What will your role as a Multi-Skilled Engineer look like?**
- You will be responsible for installing detection equipment at customer sites
- You will assist with fault-finding and problem-solving duties
- This role is part of a call-out rota, in which you will be on call on a rotational basis. Roll-out is currently around 1 week in every 12 or 13 and compensation is generous for participation plus you are not required to work during the day for the durationof on-call cover plus you are guaranteed a full day off at the weekend whilst participating in on-call duties as we run a buddy system.
