First Steps Care are looking for an experienced Children's Registered Manager to lead a skilled, loyal team to new successes whilst providing the very best of care to Children and young Adults.

Regular and ongoing support is provided by our on-site wellbeing practitioner. The home operates with two deputy managers to support the RM (one being office based and the other shift based).

**Main responsibilities and duties**:

- Responsibility for the management of safeguarding children and young people, risk and service governance
- Following robust and high quality reporting and recording procedures
- Ensure that children and have access to services which meet their health, education, social, psychological, and emotional needs and wellbeing
- Monitor outcomes and progress for children in accordance with their care plans
- Management supervision, reviewing and monitoring standards, and practice development
- Reviewing care and service plans to ensure care is being delivered effectively
- Working with commissioners, local authorities, and health practitioners

**Experience and qualifications**:

- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or willing to work towards)
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification)
- Minimum 5 year's experience working in children’s residential
- Minimum 3 year's experience working as a Registered Manager in an Ofsted regulated home

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £48,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
