**Hygiene Operative - Night Shifts**
**Salary: £26,340.00 per annum**
**Monday to Friday 9pm until 6am (No Weekends)**

Maintaining our equipment by ensuring cleaning is carried our regularly and blockages removed in an efficient way allows our operation to function at its peak capacity.

Accountability is key in everything we do, and this role is no different. You will be accountable for carrying out basic first-line maintenance of equipment such as safely removing and replacing guarding equipment to facilitate cleaning.

Safety is at the centre of everything we do here at Renewi and full PPE is provided. You will love a juicy SHEQ policy and ensure the reporting of close calls & incidents are always carried out.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Ensure the highest level of housekeeping is maintained to ensure
- Health & Safety and Environmental compliance.
- Working to a set cleaning plan, as well as reacting and adapting to new tasks which may arise daily.
- Ensuring compliance with site environmental permit
- Involvement in best practice and continuous improvement
- Comply with changes to company standards and legislation
- Operation of mobile plant such as FLT/TLT

- Good knowledge and understanding of health & safety
- Experience of operating mobile plant machinery (FLT/TLT)
- Experience of operating fork lift trucks (Full training will be provided if you do not have this)
- Full UK car driving license
- IPAF - Previous experience using MEWPS (Scissor lift/Cherry Pickers)
- Experience of working in a waste management environment
