Duties and Responsibilities.

They will be responsible for supporting child initiated and adult led activities based around the needs and interests of each individual child ,supporting children's learning through planned purposeful play opportunities.

An EYP will also support the observation and assessment of each child and contribute to their learning experiences.

They will assist in the individual needs of each child, changing nappies, toileting, feeding etc.

They will liaise with parents and carers.

They will actively promote and support the safeguarding of children within the setting ensuring all of our policies and procedures are followed and implemented.

Experience/ Nursery 1 Year (preferred)

Childcare 1 Year (preferred)

Personal skills/ Friendly, Confident.

Qualifications / Level 2 or Level 3 EYP or equivalent

Maths : GCSE Grade c or above English: GCSE Grade c or above

Subject to a successful DBS check

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 - 30 per week

**Salary**: From £9.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Our setting is cleaned regularly throughout the day.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Derby, DE65 5EH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
