**Salary**: £87000 (Which is inclusive of 9.5% shift allowance)

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Perform the duties required as a Typhoon Synthetic Instructor Pilot, providing professional aircrew academic and synthetic instruction during the ground school phase of training and other authorized events
- To provide simulator based emergency handling and aircraft systems training to both trainee and Front Line Typhoon pilots
- To work outside of core Company hours as required to support the 29 Squadron task
- The provision of high quality ground school training in accordance with the provided syllabus
- Instilling and maintaining a strong Flight Safety culture.

***Your skills and experiences**:

- Former RAF fast jet OCU instructor or QFI/QWI
- In depth knowledge of Typhoon aircraft and Customer training structure and processes (DSAT)
- Understanding of Customer synthetic training needs and utilisation of synthetic training requirements
- Understanding of Typhoon operations and weapons systems
- Maintaining currency and knowledge of RAF Typhoon Force and Squadron SOPs and front line Typhoon tactics and doctrines
- Understanding of the RAF Flight Safety system

In this role you will be joining a team of 20 like-minded, experienced Typhoon QSFIs who have the same thirst and experience for promoting best practice within BAE systems.
