Join our North West London (Barnet Borough) team as a full time Live in carer and help people to lead independent and fulfilling lives in their own homes throughout the area.
Helping people over the age of 18 to live comfortably in their own homes is one of the most rewarding jobs available.

As a Live In Care Assistant working with us, you will receive:

- Similar rotas each week so that you can get to know the people you care for

- Flexible shifts (both shorter visits as well as up to 12 hour shifts in one location and live in care).

**Role of Live In Carer**
As a Live in carer you'll get to know the people you care for and will:

- Provide companionship help brighten someone's day
- Help service users with mobility problems and other physical disabilities
- Care for service users who are temporarily sick and needing, for example, bed nursing, help with feeding, medication, etc.
- Care for service users who are palliative.
- Assist service users who need help with getting up in the morning, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing and the toilet.
- Help in the promotion of mental and physical activity of service users through talking to them, taking them out, sharing with them in activities such as reading, writing, hobbies and recreations.
- Assist with housework
- Prepare meals

**Live in Care Assistant Job Requirements**
- Care experience (professional or personal) is preferred but not essential
- A clean DBS check
- Authorised to work in the UK

Rivendell Care & Support are a North West London based home care provider dedicated to providing top quality care. Our aim is to support our care users in their own home so that they can live happy, fulfilled independent lives. Care visits are a minimum of an hour. We also provide care day shifts, night shifts and live in care.
