**Full-time, permanent position**.

**What we offer**:
We are a progressive farm practice that accommodates for the surrounding farmers veterinary needs. From our origin in January 2000, where we had one branch, two vets and one admin staff, we now have three branches, nine vets and 15 support staff. Our three branches are RCVS PSS accredited and our branch in Blackwater has a VMD wholesale licence. We have three GDP mentors, and the majority of our support staff have attained SQP status or are studying towards it. Equicomms are employed to answer our OOHs phone calls thereby vets will not have the phone diverted to them when they are on OOHs duty. Two vets are on duty each night throughout the year. We now wish to employ a Senior Vet to support our long standing CD.

**Branch opening hours are**:
Mon-Fri: 9am
- 6pm

Saturday: 9am-4pm

Vets are required to join the OOHs rota.

We are looking for individuals who work to excellent clinical standards, are enthusiastic and passionate about veterinary medicine and will drive the practice forward both clinically and commercially whilst supporting our Clinical Director.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Veterinary degree (registered or eligible to register with RCVS) or above with at least three years of experience in farm veterinary.
- Clean driving licence
- Flexible - Be prepared to work between our three branches and join our OOHs rota
- Good communication skills - experience organising and leading meetings

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Certificate holder / working towards a cert.
- RCVS GDP mentor
- experience mentoring new-grads and happy to do so
- Registered TB tester - experience communicating with Daera on TB contracts, Tags and any other legislation implemented by them
- Experience withexporting cattle / sheep
- RCVS PSS- Recognise and help maintain accreditation to PSS, by completion of SOPs and audits - e.g (Controlled drugs audit)
