**About the role**:
Core
- Live the BBV Values
- Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm
- Support the delivery of BBV’s Sustainability activities Health Safety & Environmental
- Check and approve RAMS from delivery framework delivery partners including ensuring all fatal risks are being effectively controlled.
- Monitors effectiveness and implementation of the BBV H & S Management System
- Produce audits on KPI’s in line with Project objectives and monitors performance of the subcontract framework delivery partners
- Continually monitor and carry out weekly formal Safety, Quality & Environment Tours as required by the Project H & S Plan
- Leads / Reviews Accident / Incident Investigations. Reviews and appraises findings and leads / directs the appropriate action arising (HFACS and Four Page Reports)
- Appraises improvement options and leads action / instigates as appropriate Quality
- Ensure quality is being monitored & delivered to the specified Inspection and test plans and raise any NCR for failures or under performance on company systems
- Overall ownership of Handover Documentation for utility diversions and lead Site Engineers in gathering and storing correctly
- Ensures site audits are undertaken and takes appropriate action on the findings
- Implements project systems and processes for quality information capture - Involved in working groups focused on Improvement Areas where applicable.

Productivity
- Manages sub-contractor performance based on KPI’s
- Ensures production of operational target programmes to reflect overall construction programme
- Chairs weekly team meetings to review performance on site
- Feedback programme performance to the Utilities Project Manager.

Commercial
- Involved in the procurement of subcontractors and advises on commercial aspects and preferred required attendances
- Contributes to the CVR production where required.
