**Job Title**: Goods In Operative

**Level**: Employee

**Department**: Stores and Planning

**Reports to**: Stores and Planning Manager

**Direct Reports**: None

**Salary**: £13.50 per hour

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Unloading parts from HGV Vehicles with a Forklift Counterbalance Truck, into the stores, ensuring they are placed in the correct location for the Stores Operatives
- Working closely with the Procurement Team to understand what parts are expected within deliveries, and obtain delivery schedules
- Liaising with couriers, to ensure the goods received paperwork is present and correct
- Ensuring that all parts expected are received and reporting any missing parts to the Stores and Planning Manager and Procurement Team
- Working within a busy stores environment to supply a fast-paced bathroom pod and modular pod production line
- Liaising with relevant team members to ensure they are aware of incoming parts, to ensure effective part picking
- Maintain a log of stock on a computer-based warehouse system
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health and Safety and other relevant legislation in addition to Elements Europe Risk Assessment and Procedures
- Ensure housekeeping standards are kept at the level required

**Experience and Knowledge required**:

- Full Valid UK Forklift Counterbalance License
- Experience unloading HGV vehicles with a Forklift
- Computer Literate (including SAP)
- Previously worked with warehouse/stock control systems
- Experience within a busy production supplying stores environment
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong team player
- Ability to take direction and to ask questions if unsure
- Punctual and reliable
- Experience carrying out these or similar tasks
