The SAA is a small, independent animal rescue based in Stretford, Manchester. We are looking to expand our fundraising activity in 2024 to ensure the survival and progression of the charity. If you are looking to work in a well established rescue, helping to improve the lives of animals in need in the Manchester area, then this could be the perfect job for you.

Job Role:
This will be a flexible role, with some on site work and some covering events in the local area.

What we need:

- Previous experience in a fundraising role (paid or volunteer)
- An understanding or experience of working in a non-profit environment, ideally animal related
- Experience organising/supporting events
- Experience engaging volunteers and supporters
- Good communication and IT skills
- A flexible approach to working hours/shift patterns
- Someone who is compassionate, hard working and dedicated to the values of the rescue
- A person who is flexible, adaptable and works well under pressure - able to make decisions and use their initiative to problem solve when necessary
- The ability to work independently and as part of the larger team of trustees, staff and volunteers
- Strong organisational skills
- Confident personality, comfortable in new situations and with new people
- A full UK drivers license

This job will be primarily based at our rescue site in Stretford, Manchester, but there will also be events around the local area that may need to be attended. The starting salary will be minimum wage and the role is 15 and half hours across 2 days ideally (although this is flexible).

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 15.5 per week
