Adult Serious Violence Worker

**The Opportunity**
We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Serious Violence Worker to join our team. As a Serious Violence Worker, you will be responsible for supporting individuals who are at risk of, or have been affected by, serious violence.
**Responsibilities**
- Work with individuals who have been affected by serious violence, providing emotional and practical support.
- Develop and deliver trauma informed interventions aimed at reducing the risk of serious violence.
- Conduct assessments and risk management plans for individuals.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure a coordinated response to serious violence.
- Support individuals in accessing relevant services, such as housing, mental health, education, and employment.
- Provide training to professionals on serious violence and related issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all work undertaken.
**Requirements**:
- Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably working with young people and/or vulnerable adults.
- Knowledge and understanding of the causes and impact of serious violence.
- Experience in conducting assessments and developing risk management plans.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- A commitment to working with people from diverse backgrounds.
