We have an immediate position available for a skilled Quality / Mechanical Inspector to join a very well established Aerospace business based near High Wycombe. The successful inspector will be tasked with carrying out inspection of incoming parts (goodsin), patrol inspection (internally) and final inspection of parts. A background in the aerospace / aviation field would be ideal but as long as you have experience with handheld inspection tools (vernier, micrometer, calliper, etc etc) and FAI (First articleinspection)
Mechanical Inspector Role:

- Carry out testing/inspection of components using a variety of processes and techniques, and certify conformity to drawing or specification
- Generate and maintain inspection documentation in accordance with the relevant Company Quality Assurance policy
- Accurately interpret component drawings/test procedures and relevant information so that, part numbers, drawing issues, relevant ADRs, process specification call up box and surface finishes can be accurately identified and applied
- Carry out First Article Inspection (FAI) and completion of F.A.I. reports to comply with company requirements.
- Completion of NCR's (Non-Conformance Reports), including root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Ensure inspection operations are accurately recorded on the company ERP system.

Mechanical Inspector Experience
- Experienced with inspecting aerospace / aviation parts
- Vernier, Micrometer, calliper etc etc
- FAIR's (First article inspection reports)
- Self-motivated, self-disciplined and having the ability to work to tight deadlines, including some late working.
- A spirit of openness and cooperation; an individual who will boost the relationships and networks within the company
- Good attention to detail; maintaining our high standards for delivery, quality & accuracy
