**Job Title: Artwork Coordinator**
**Position Location: Horsham**
**Position Summary**:
Part of the Engineering function, the Artwork Coordinator will provide the required CAD technical support and expertise to the wider Commercial Team, Packaging Operations, Distribution and Business Development. Day-to-day management of client supplied, commercial artwork. From dieline creation to release to market. The role is within our engineering CAD Team, who use "innovative" software and technology to support the business through design and development with a key focus on continuous improvement & innovation, in conjunction with Engineering.
**Responsibilities**:
- Project Management of client supplied Artwork through the business, using GLAMS (our global project management system).
- Maintain the GLAMS database and ensure compliance to standard methodology and naming conventions.
- Working alongside Engineering to understand machine parameters and how they affect serialisation on the packaging. Converting this information to the dielines.
- Dieline Creation, for client use when developing their artwork.
- Collaboration with Suppliers, Internal Departments and External Clients.
- Ensuring artwork for printed packaging components is fit for purpose, meets client expectation etc
- Maintain awareness of current department standard operating procedures within a GxP environment.
- Assist with department and inter-departmental cross training in best practice.
**Minimum Requirements/Qualifications**:
- A background in pharmaceutical, packaging and or print industry.
- Experience of working in a similar artwork coordinator role.
- Knowledge of working within a GxP environment.
- Compliance to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Quality driven and have knowledge of change control and its management.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to analyse problems and define customer centric solutions.
- Ability to produce innovative solutions.
- Able to work under pressure and to support others within the team.
- Excellent computer literacy in a Windows based environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as being part of a team.
**Job Specific Software Proficiencies**:
- GLAMS - Global Labelling & Artwork Management System.
- Trackwise - Quality Management System.
- Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat.
- Experience of Autodesk Inventor 3D, AutoCAD LT & Vault Professional would be advantageous.
- General Microsoft proficiencies; Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
