This business has a global reputation in the Offshore Drilling market and has a large number of significant clients. They are specialists in the design, construction and operation of both Semi-Submersible Rigs and Drillships, and they have been growing theirteam in the UK to meet the region's increasing demand for their services.
In this role you will be working within the company's Engineering Department to carry out shore-based work on their fleet's electrical and electronic systems as well as providing support to offshore-based electrical engineers. This will involve duties suchas investigating equipment failures, developing maintenance strategies and coordinating projects for upgrades & modifications.

The Role:

- Working in an onshore role within Engineering Department, occasionally supporting Offshore team
- Taking responsibility for works concerning Electrical & Electronic systems across rigs and Drillships
- Carrying out investigations and Root Cause Analysis for equipment failures
- Inputting on maintenance strategies and improvements
- Supporting with project work such as upgrades, modifications and installations
The Person:

- Educated to at least HNC/HND level in Electrical Engineering, although a Degree is preferred
- At least 1 year's post-qualification experience in an Electrical Engineering position
