Jet2 have a unique opportunity for an Apprentice Test Engineer to join their central data team and as they continue their journey towards becoming a fully data-driven organisation and embed a data-first culture across their business. As a wider data team,their priority is the delivery of high-quality, well-modelled, clean, and trustworthy data assets for use across the business. Their data teams also work hard to support all their data assets and ensure the business realise maximum benefit and return on investmentfrom them.

A typical day
- You will report to one of their Test Leads, and work as part of a multi-disciplinary, agile, data delivery team focused on the delivery of innovative, robust, and efficient data solutions to complex business problems.
- You will ensure the quality of the data assets being developed for the business.
- You will work with the wider delivery team to assess the appropriate level of testing for each piece of work, followed by the planning, execution and documentation of testing carried out.

**You must have**
- GCSE English & Maths 4-9 (C-A*) or equivalent

- You will have a demonstrable interest in the use of SQL and working with large, complex datasets, including data testing on one or more of the following platforms:

- Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
- Google Cloud Platform (GCS, Google Cloud Composer, GKE,
- Cloud Functions, BiqQuery)
- Snowflake Cloud Data Platform dBt Data Transformation Framework
- Most importantly, you will be passionate about all things data, keen to learn and share your experiences with the wider team and excited about joining a dynamic, fast-paced, multi-disciplinary data engineering team.
