Driver/valeter

We are looking for a reliable and courteous Driver/Valeter to join our team and provide excellent service to our customers. As a driver/valeter, you will be responsible for picking up and dropping off vehicles, as well as washing, vacuuming, polishing, and sanitising them. You will also inspect the vehicles for any damages or defects and report them to the manager. To be successful as a Driver/Valeter, you should have a valid driver’s licence, a clean driving record, and good communication skills. You should also be able to follow instructions, work independently, and handle various types of vehicles. You should have a keen eye for detail and a customer-oriented attitude.
**Responsibilities**:
- Drive vehicles to and from the designated locations in a safe and timely manner
- Clean and polish the interior and exterior of the vehicles using appropriate equipment and products
- Remove any rubbish, stains, or odours from the vehicles
- Check the oil level, tyre pressure, and fuel level of the vehicles and refill as needed
- Report any mechanical issues, damages, or missing items to the Branch Manager
- Maintain a record of the vehicles’ condition and mileage
- Follow safe working practices
- Comply with all traffic laws and company policies
**Requirements**:
- Valid driver’s licence (held for minimum of 2 years) and clean driving record
- Experience as a driver, valet, or car washer is preferred
- Basic level of computer literacy
- Ability to drive and park various types of vehicles
- Knowledge of basic car maintenance and cleaning techniques
- Attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, working well under pressure both independently and within a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends (typical working hours will be Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, every other Saturday 8am-11:30am)

**Salary**: Up to £12.00 per hour
