Healthy Minds Lincolnshire provides early and preventative emotional wellbeing interventions for children, young people and their families across Lincolnshire. First established in 2017, the service has provided intervention, advice or guidance to over 5,500 children & young people across the County.

We are advertising for an exceptional Practitioner to join our team. This role will provide support via liaison & consultation to education providers and universal services. It will also involve providing evidence based groups & workshops to children & young people and parents/carers, as well as brief 1-1 interventions. Healthy Minds Lincolnshire work with children and young people on a variety of emotional wellbeing needs including but not limited to: anxiety, low mood, self-harm, self-esteem, and anger.

This is an exciting opportunity for motivated and highly organised individuals with a passion for children and young people’s emotional wellbeing to help shape the Healthy Minds Lincolnshire service.

The successful applicant will be able to travel around this large rural county and will be able to work flexibly according to the needs of the service. The successful applicant will need to have knowledge and experience of delivering evidence based therapeutic interventions.

The B4 Healthy Minds Lincolnshire Practitioners will provide emotional wellbeing support to child and young people including their parents/carers and wider support network. Support will be provided by the Practitioner in groups, workshops and on a one-to-one basis. They will also support the B4 Practitioners to link with Education Settings and provide guidance, liaison and support regarding student’s emotional wellbeing needs.

Clinical
- Provide telephone consultations for children/young people and families (CYP-F) to establish the most appropriate intervention or signpost/refer to most appropriate service.
- Co-deliver groups with B5 Practitioner, taking responsibility for maintaining records for a percentage of the attendees.
- Deliver workshops for children and young people (CYP) and parents.
- Provide one-to-one intervention for a caseload of CYP.
- Manage clinical risk and safeguarding concerns with support from senior members of the team.
- Liaise with other professionals/services re. referrals and according to CYP needs.
- Provide advice/consultation to school staff and other professionals (e.g., children’s services) to upskill them in supporting the emotional wellbeing of CYP.

Team Support
- Act as team champion as volunteered/allocated (e.g., Safeguarding, SEND, Staff wellbeing etc)
- Act as mentor for new members of staff/support new staff induction and provide shadowing opportunities.
- Contribute clinical expertise and experience as part of group clinical supervision and team meetings.
- Mandatory attendance at team meetings.
