Job Introduction
As a** Relief Security Officer** at Sodexo in **Carlisle area between Sodexo Sites**, you'll ensure the safety of our customers, staff, their buildings and assets. **What you’ll do**:

- Greet staff and visitors and ensure they adhere to the required security protocols
- Monitoring access control, weighbridge and other protective systems
- Act as a first line response to activations & incidents
- Log and transfer calls, relay messages and provide guidance and advice to visitors, clients, contractors and staff
- Travelling between **Carlisle areas between various Sodexo sites** as required
- To carry out regular patrols throughout the shift

**What you bring**:

- Ability to interact with employees, contractors, consultants, visitors, and management as well as local police and fire authorities
- Excellent communication and awareness skills, with the ability to build professional working relationships
- An agile and adaptable approach
- Experience in working in a similar role and computer literacy
- Knowledge of security techniques, site and local emergency procedures
- A valid **SIA and Full driving** Licence is essential upon applying
- **BS758 Vetting** - if successful, you will be required to provide 5 year working history
